I highly recommend the bayou classic. The way their heating tube runs through the middle of the oil instead of the bottom allows the breading that falls off to settle at the bottom of the fryer and not get scorched and ruin your oil. If you use peanut oil you can empty the fryer with the drain valve every couple times you use it and strain the breading out and you are good to go again.

I usually go about for cookings on mine. I drain in it back in to the container after it cools.
ETA: I have the Cajun fryer brand

I've been using this one for about 5 years now. Works like a charm and is relatively inexpensive.

If there's any drawbacks to it is that the temp readings on the dial are in celsius but there's a little chart there that converts for you. And it doesn't have a drain valve. You have to let the grease cool before removing it.
I bought a cone strainer and filters and it works fine.

Pretty sure I can save yall some money on all the Cajun Fryer products but I would need to get 6 or more units at a time.
I have some electric fryers. They work you just cant put much in it so it makes frying a long process so I was looking at a propane style.

Be careful here, don't pull the No Colors ban hammer route.

I want one myself lol. I am looking at that 4gal ecco one with just the legs. I have some smaller electric fryers if I need to do a small fast batch.
