My lil fryer is on the struggle bus.. after 2 batches, temps don’t get above 325 for some reason.

Anyways, what’s a good fryer out there?

How big you want? I’d probably go with something commercial.

If I go big, it would be one of those propane Cajun fryers... Padnuh has one at the camp in GI and it cooks incredible. But really don’t wanna drop $250 on that right now.

If you are looking for electric the T Fal is hard to beat. When you are done frying it filters the oil and puts it in a storage container. Super easy clean up.

I saw that one on amazon. It gets to 375 fairly easy and holds temp?

I really like the filter system and being able to re use the earl...

As long as you don’t overload the basket it maintains temps. pretty good.
If you are doing big batches for several people the Bayou Classic is hard to beat. You can keep it outside and not smell up your house when frying.

The bayou classics are cheaper than the Cajun fryers. They work just as good?

I’ve had mine for several years and have had zero problems with it. Stainless steel so it cleans up super easy.

Cooked up a batch of fries last night in the cold.

I may just splurge and get dat. It’ll pay for itself because I’m dropping $75-$100 on electric fryers every few years it seems.

You store the grease in it?

I may just get a burner and go the black pot route.

Yea I just leave it in there. But it has a brass ball valve in the bottom so it is easy to drain it back into a container.
