Apparently this is a new trend among the self righteous.
I’ve got a couple springs on my place and would quit my job and bottle water full time if people are paying money for this bullshite.

on the golf course I grew up playing there was a pipe that came up from the ground that I was told was "mineral water"
the pipe was a 2" pvc pipe and completely covered in a nasty looking rust color smudge. But the water was wonderful. Never heard of anyone getting sick from it. That being said, if one tried to bottle it, it would not end well. when you put it in a bottle there would be sediments that settled on the bottom that looked nasty.
I miss that water.

Had an artesian well nearby at my camp that ran freely all my life. Cold and crystal clear. 150’ deep.

Go for it.
I remember as a kid when bottled water started getting popular. My dad said something like "can you believe people are buying water at THOSE prices? I can just fill up a jug at home, where I pay $1/1,000 gallons."
He now rides around with at least a case of water in his truck at all times.

The company delivers water to parts of California,

There are billions of people who would die to have clean water to increase their life expectancy and health, and we are going in the opposite direction," he said.
Seriously? The damn soccer moms with their Purel have stripped away and killed all the natural good bacteria or "Pro-biotics" so now they want it back in the drinking water but not if it comes from the low class tap? Truly 1st World Stupidity at it's best.

I know of several water pipes of natural flowing water in the area. I have drank from them. I've seen people fill up water jugs as well. No big deal

my old man had property that had an old hand pump well on it. May have been artesian well because they are all over the area. It could be 98 degrees out and that water was always ice cold

This is a bit of nonsense from both sides.
On one hand, springs and deep well water generally don't need to be treated and are completely safe to drink from a bacterial standpoint. The only reason municipal water is treated is because it typically travels long distances via pipeline or is collected from surface reservoirs.
On the other hand, these idiots paying a premium for "raw water" are getting zero health benefits other than the serotonin boost they get from acting as if they're better than everyone else.

Of course. Lol. But with so many idiots leaving Cali and coming to texas, Austin and Dallas might be prime markets for this stuff.
