All my buddies are traveling for big deer, TX, MO, IA. I am going to continue to shoot southern pine forest deer and dream.

I'm missing out on my Wisconsin and Missouri trip this yr so taking a quick one to TX. My bro is in Wisconsin right now and rut is in full swing. I am hoping to hit the rut in tx but I may be a week too late.

We hunt public land in Wisconsin and Missouri, it's a lot cheaper than you would think but can be difficult.

There are a few exceptions but for the most part you have to have big money to kill big deer in LA these days.

Sounds great. I really enjoy traveling and hunting, but being at Camp back home is hard to beat. Good luck and post pics.

Im not rich by any means. Got invited to the Texas ranch and the Arkansas duck hunt if super cheap since we are doing self guide. The Giles Island Trip has been on the bucket list. I’m pretty stoked about it. This may be the greatest 4 weeks of my life. Thanks everyone and I’ll try to post pictures but may require help. I’m not very tech savvy.

Might get lucky with the duck timing. Highs in the 30s early next week and we've had a ton of rain so if youre hunting public you might actually have some birds. Normally I prefer northern AR early in the year.

Where are you in AR? I was just at my boss's camp in Holly Grove last weekend working on blinds. The water was really starting to rise Sunday when I was leaving

Own a few small companies. I save all my vacation for hunting season though.

I’m not sure. It’s 220.00 per person and that includes the stay at a lodge. I’ll post details when I get back once I see what it’s all about. I was invited last minute because one guy backed out.

That’ll be nice.

I’m pumped. I am taking off work beginning 12/7 and not returning until 01//7. The first week I’ll be in S. Texas hunting, then I’ll spend the rest of my time hunting our place in Waterproof. In Waterproof I’ll likely duck hunt the mornings and deer hunt the evenings.

Hoping we have some nice weather and it’d be great if we get a couple hard freezes before December. Good luck.
