Rangefinder recommendations

Got a new bow for Christmas and wanna go ahead and get a range finder instead of guessing distance while being 20ft up. I see some good cheap models on Amazon but I'm not a big fan of the black numbering because sometimes it blends in with trees or the ground.

Can't go wrong with the Sig Kilo 850 or 1200. I waited until an Ebay 20% off day and bought a 1200. They're usually on sale there, so you can get 20% off on top of the sale.
The other place to look is SWFA.com's Sample List. They will have demo and used range finders from Leica, Swaro, etc. Those are outstanding, just not necessary in my opinion especially for us bowhunters.

I used mine about 20 minutes ago I have a Nikon Prostaff E it calculates the angle an gives you the distance in yards. Works great I’ve been having mine for 4 years and battery is still good. I guess make sure you get one that calculates the angle.

Whatever one is it make sure it has elevation compensation for bowhunting

I'm no expert on rangefinders - my old one died due to AA battery leakage.
Based on recommendations in an earlier thread (November, 2018) I bought a SIG Kilo. (I found the Kilo 2200 on sale and bought it.)

Depending on the batteries, the battery manufacturer may pay for the rangefinder.
I know Duracell paid for two nice flashlights I had.

Just the thread I needed. Planning on getting one with gift cards from Christmas now that I'm getting more into bow hunting.
