I’m old school and can’t stand the extra lines in the trucks. I don’t like the ram boxes because I don’t like the extra lines.

Yeh I like the functionality of this, but I agree with you I don’t like the look of the seam

Why? I can't think of a time that I ever wanted something like that.

Exactly, these manufacturers should ask actual truck owners who use the vehicle for its intended purpose when making design decisions.

Like making crewcab with a standard box not so fricking hard to find.

You never have loaded shite in and out of your truck and wished you didn’t have to lean over the tailgate?

If it was on a decent truck I could get behind it. I like the concept just doesn’t make up for the fact it is on a Dodge.

It will be nice for the owners who push them to have a seat and a tailgate to push against without having to drop the tailgate each time. Maybe that ls what they went for?!

I’m a fan. Some of us vertically challenged folks have a difficult time reaching over the bed to slide stuff back. I want to see it with a boat hooked up though. If I can open the short side and access the bed without climbing over the tongue, we’re in business.

Like all these new trucks though, God forbid you hit it with something. I bet they’re proud of the replacement parts.

That's terribly ugly. Why are they making trucks uglier and uglier?

This

It looks like shite. If you’re gonna open the tail gate from the side then why not just one swinging tailgate.

Becusse then it would be more difficult to also have it give you the traditional drop down tailgate, and you would need far more clearance space to swing it open

But I agree it doesn’t aesthetically look appealing with the seam

How many times has that one item slipped just forward enough that you can't reach it with the tailgate down and you have to climb up in to get it?

I get the purpose, but as others have said, I don't care for the seam.
