you have obviously never driven through: Ball, Pollock, Georgetown, Tullos, Urania, Jena, and other small towns in Bumphuc, Louisiana. You will be written a ticket driving 2 mph over the speed limit in Olla, LA. I travel the rural country roads visiting with all 64 Parish Sheriff's Offices. and School Board Presidents.

And let’s not forget the beautiful little town of Golden Meadow.

I have an older Passport Escort 9500ix that I bought from a crackhead like 10 years ago for $40, it still works great and will pick up radar from a really long way out. I liked it so much I put the same model in my wife's vehicle as well.

I have the same that I bought back around 10 years ago when I had to pick up a Porsche 911 in Dallas and drive it home. Has saved my arse countless times.

What amazes me the most is that in La. I almost NEVER encounter cops using laser in La., and 90% of cops just drive around with their radar on even if they aren’t using it. It picks up practically every cop on the street when they are a half mile away.

Dude...that little town sucks. And with all the speed changes they do...and let's not forget some of the speed limit signs are covered with overgrowth and you will miss them. But they offer the "non-moving violation" option for you at least.

I was going to buy one and use the JBV1 app but my gf bought me a cheap Uniden, and so far it works great.

Uniden r3, r4, r7, or r8. Pick one.

I drive 25+ over everywhere for decades and when I get on a major highway I also run Waze. Only got two tickets with it ever. One time I silenced an active KA band and forgot about it and sped up. It detected it like 2 miles away. Another time was in Krotz Springs going 5 under and the corrupt cop wrote me a ticket for 16 over.

Exactly what does this have to do with speeding and/or speeding tickets.

So you telling me you have been in a car with East Carroll Parish school board president Jacqueline Folks?

The lady he's claims to ride around with

I'm convinced the cops running radar must constantly delete themselves from waze..

Was driving to work one morning and saw a cop set up with his radar. I punched it in on Waze. About 30 seconds later, I got a message from the APD, "Thanks."

I run the R7.

Zero complaints !!!

Has paid for itself over and over.

Long range detection is often miles, not hundreds of yards.

I saw a lot of people on the road today with detectors suction cup’d to their windshield.

I have a blendmount for my Uniden. It is mounted under my rear view mirror and hard wired to 12V power. I recommend them. Blendmount

That’s a good mounting system. There are 2-3 good high end radar detectors now. Some offer advantages over the others. Any of the top 3 are probably sufficient on anything but instant on and Lidar. You will need later jammer’s for Lidar. You should be able to speed with impunity if careful and the occasional ticket can be judicially adjudicated to a non moving violation. That’s how to roll!

Did a small 3M mount off of EBay from FormulaOne and did the wire tap to the mirror power supply.

Hidden up in the black dots of the windshield
