You should go have lunch at Chuck E Cheese and contemplate your choices.

I've heard a few say this, but I've used the crap out of my soft side 20 and it's been great.

Yup, I was having issues with the zippper. Put some of their grease on it and it was perfect again.

Absolute garbage product and company.

Glue completely disappears after 18 months of use.

Call company and they say glue has nothing to do with manufacturing.

I made it a point to not buy from them when they started pulling warranty shenanigans a year or two ago. They started advertising that they were available on Amazon, then a little while later decided that they weren’t warrantying coolers purchased on Amazon. While I haven’t had many issues with mine besides a sweaty drain plug (fixed with wine cork) on my 20, I’m still out.

So for 30% of the cost of a yeti you don’t think 18 months of regular use is a good lifespan? Seems solid to me.

I have an issue with my zipper on mine, it’s not an amazing soft sided cooler but I got mine for 50% off or whatever when Yeti won the lawsuit and it’s been a dang good product for the money.

Are you kidding?

I love my softside but I had the same issue as Hoss

According to your maths, 30% of the cost so it should be about 70% the life span..

Lifetime * 70% =/= 18 months

and mine unglued at 13 months...

so a cooler designed to be used for outdoor use cant be in the sun?

my brothers yeti hopper is used all the time...still operates fine and is way older.

just like hoss and hat, my cooler became unglued and useless and RTIC said oh well...great business moto. They said they have a one year warranty..conveniently it fell apart right after that.

Anybody ever tried a Homitt? Looks like it has good reviews and is rated higher than yeti and RTIC. The 30 can looks pretty nice and won't break the bank.

Lifetime? You realize a product lifetime does not always mean a human lifetime right? Are you serious? With a soft side cooler?

Did you honestly think you were getting Yeti quality and a lifetime warranty for 50% of the cost? If so, I have a lot of stuff to sell you!

You get what you pay for. I don’t think 18 months with regular use is a horribly short life for a soft side cooler bought on the cheap.

So I’d like you guys to explain to me what you expected for 50% or less of the cost of a Yeti? So did you expect RTIC be 200% better at business to the point they can sell an equal product for half the cost? If you paid half price why is half the product such an atrocity?
