Took a stab at it, looks like I was wrong. I'm not a fan of outfitters and so called professional hunters no matter how deep they stack green or whatever else. I don't see why folks are enamored with such, I'd rather kill not shite on my own than give some dude a fist full of bills to do it all for me. I don't kill many ducks anymore but when I do or don't it's on me. But that's my opinion which I'm entitled to. You baws have fun in KS, and I mean that no shite.

It will be interesting to see how many of the newer outfitters will be around when we drop back to 3 and 30 or 4 and 45 again. I don't have a dog in this fight and don't know these guys at all but it wouldn't be the first time a big time outfitter or public hunting persona has gotten exposed (Foiles, High Caliber in KS, etc). The outfitters up there are probably relying on free land and lots of scouting more than the guys down in our areas who try to lease up the world then get run off 4 seasons later. Hope you guys going up there have good hunts.

It's really just an opportunity to hunt completely different than anything I'm able to do down here in Lousiana, therefore it's worth every penny to me. Can you go up there and be successful on public land? Absolutely, but to be with guys who know the land and have the gear and know it all that they have, it's a no brainer to go the outfitter route. There have been times where public land is a wasteland and the mega feeds are on land that only they have access to hunt, whether that's through leasing or just land owner/farmer relationships. Trust me, I'm by no means rich and I work for my money and it's something I'll continue to do regardless of the price tag. And as far as them doing all the work, we pitch in a lot as well. It takes effort from the whole crew to deploy and pick up 800-1000 full bodies out of a dry field. The money is just there to ensure that your dream trip will actually be one. The lodge is great, the guys are great, and the hunting is phenomenal. You tell me that's not worth it.

They were raided. I live an hr from their lodge and know mulitple of their former guides. They got raided by 50 feds in bullet proof vests and with rifles. kicked in the doors that were unlocked and everything lol. baiting, shooting over the limits, dumping birds, drugs, and tax evasion is what ive heard.

Yes they are still guiding and selling hunts. why? because in this country you are innocent until proven guilty.
