Yea this thread is a little misleading. Certainly hasn't been any charges and as of today they're still totally operational, with clients hunting as we speak. But hey, at least 2indapink got the breaking news out FIRST!!!1!1!! (Just like the mainstream media)

They just posted a snapchat getting ready for the afternoon hunt. So, it looks like they are doing fine.

How many guides do they run? Could be the case of a rouge guide doing something stupid and it being associated with the outfitter he works for.

That's a hell of an accusation to throw around without any factual support. You're dealing with peoples' livelihoods here.

I don't know these guys personally, but the guides I have been around don't have time for baiting and BS. If they are not actively hunting with clients, they are scouting. Our guys have said 150-300 miles a day behind the wheel after the hunt is over for the next day's hunt.

I am sure the PTO guys go out of their way to do it right and stay on the good side of the farmers. Their business depends a ton on free access. Rumors of or actual problems with game wardens could indeed hurt their business. It just wouldn't be worth it.

Well they just smashed another 8 man limit of mallards so maybe they just know what they're doing and work hard for it?

As someone who has managed a large corporate lodge and guided on my own, the top notch guys rarely cheat and here is why.

1. They usually got the customer base or in the position they were in because they have a lot of knowledge and experience. This includes recognizing habitat trends and migration patterns.

2. Most have the resources to make their set ups BETTER than baiting, they like me usually also know the rules inside and out and where the big holes are that u can use to really help your location.

3. All you have to do is get caught ONE time - e outlaw tag never leaves.....just like old macgregor the bridge builder - he fricked one goat and was forever macgregor the goat fricker...it ain't worth it. Twice I sent 2 guide whom I really liked and were infinitely valuable to me and our organization packing over minor transgressions.....never looked back.

4. People that are jealous are usually quit to say they are doing his or doing that..blah blah....back in the day I invited LDWF AND usfws guys to come out and see exactly what we were doing - never did they say this was illegal..... I did offer up a small 100 acre section that was planted in sunflower for do as was cut against my instructions - became off limits during teal and duck season......they didn't use that field as much as the ones that were legal......

They good guys are really good.....the scum bags well......they are scumbags....

Chpqsi...how much land do u need access to in order to do it right, or just access to different types of property (timber, fields and lakes/breaks) in different areas? What kind of salary does a land manager require?
