Looking to get some ideas for my first setup. Ideally I could also use it on camping trips. Any recommendations?

I have one of these little Weber Q1000 grills, it's awesome. I do most of my cooking while truck camping on it. If you prefer charcoal they make a little tailgate sized kettle grill. I've had one for 6 or 7 years and it's great but when I'm done hunting I don't want to wait on charcoal to heat up.

For coffee and reheating frozen food that I brought I have one of the two burner Coleman suitcase stoves.

Good luck eating without Yeti utensils and Yeti plates.

Same here, except mine is the Magellan brand from Academy. About 1.5 years ago I went in there looking for one of the Coleman stoves, and they were sold out, and I ended up buying a small one burner butane stove. It is fine in warmer weather and when I'm just taking my boys camping. It will heat a griddle just fine to do bacon and eggs, burger patties, and boil water for coffee. But I was limited to the one burner. This spring I went to find a two burner, and ended up with the Magellan which is a copycat of the Coleman. I would have bought Coleman, but again they were out of stock. I figure for $40 if it lasts me a few seasons great.

Hebert Stove(it’s a burner) w/ a 5 gal pot, also no relation.

Hebert’s Machine in Rayne is where it comes from. He started this style and has been welding crawfish boats for years. It’ll do whatever you need for the most part.

A blackstone of sorts works well too.

Then tables, yetis etc…

I’ve got a little Coleman kettle grill that I use 90% of the time. Takes probably 30 minutes to break it out and grill some food. Sometimes November gets cold enough to reheat some gumbo, so I use little 2-burner Coleman stove.

You’ll want to keep it simplistic, otherwise you’ll spend the whole day setting up and taking down equipment while everyone enjoys themselves.

Coleman suitcase stoves are perfect IMHO.
