Finally get a weekend to go down to the Mobile Bay area and do some fishing, of course a front rolls through.
Do you find the fishing can still be good after a front like this one?

I'm going Sunday. I plan to stay in the marsh, fishing bayous at pond drains.

Expect very low water. Gauges are dropping like crazy right now with the N wind.

Usually makes it tough.The guy talking about the marsh drains is on it. Those will shut down once the water is gone.

Got a cabin rented at Hebert's so I'll be fishing Big Lake this weekend. Had to reschedule around Tropical Storm Barry so I guess us trying to make this trip happen is just cursed.
Ah well, can't catch em in the kitchen. The place has dock lights so we may see if can't find a few late night flounder moving around.

It's going to be a tough go but we needed this north wind to get the high water out the Marsh. Sunday will be the better of the 2 but still not great.

Never fished Fall/Winter...normally deer hunting by now. My son hasn't taken to hunting yet but loves some fishing so here goes nothing
