Anyone have pictures of their portable building deer camps. Looking for some different ideas and what size buildings have been too small after the fact.

Thanks

There is a thread on this site that shows some thoughts on using a cargo trailer...

I have never had a camp and wished it were smaller. Go as big as you can afford. By the time you add gear and furnishings everything gets small.

Ain’t that the truth. Started this past weekend adding on to mine. Hopefully have it done by the end of the year but kids and shite get in the way.

Worth always reminding to never put a propane heater in that thing.

I have a 10 x 20 Derksen side lofted barn that I am turning into my camp. It is by no means huge but I'm hoping that having beds in the loft and adding a 10 x 20 porch will make it seem bigger.

Texas Bow Hunters .com has a DIY forum. There are a ton of ideas there. Sheds converted to cabins. Shipping containers converted to cabins. Etc

"Beds in the loft" = hot as Sh*t

I know it sounds like a good idea and a way to save on space, but it just sucks.

Not mine. I have a camphouse. I just saw it on the other site. Picture looks like he has power (outlets visable) so I would go with an upright electric ceramic heater. Or just an electric blanket.
