Is there any way to get the rash to go away any quicker? Does that Tecnu stuff work once you already have the rash?

There is no joke there hoss. It dries that shite straight up. I wouldn't recommend bathing in it but it won't itch after two days tops. It is hard for me to get poison ivy. I have to really be in it bad. When I do I use mineral spirits.

Eveenu oatmeal baths, use cold water. Do not take hot showers. Cold baths and throw in a couple cap fulls of bleach. Or if u can go swimming in a pool the chlorine drys it out.

Bleach works too. I just prefer the MS. Every time it itches wipe a little on until it dries out.

Correct, cool showers.
Ive found that you can scratch the hell out of it and steadily apply rubbing alcohol, and itll dry up.
Caladryl sucks.
The clear benadryl spray is good.

I know Ivarest works pretty well. It has calamine in it like the regular pink stuff, but it also has other ingredients that supposed to make it heal faster.

I got a bad case of it last year all over my face and arms from pulling down vines on the tree that I used with my climber. I had to go get a cortizone shot and oral steroids to get rid of it. I had a bad reaction to the steroids and almost killed someone, literally. Roid rage like a mfer

I got this prescription strength Benadryl from the redi-med when I had chiggers extremely bad one time. It was called Hydroxyzine HCl and was 50mg if I remember correctly. I got a shot with that and it pretty much got rid of the itching

Hot shower. Scratch it until it bleeds. Dry it off and put alcohol on it.

Works like a champ. Feels soooooooooooooooooo good.
