Do yourself a favor and check out RITON Optics.

Are these really good? Taurus is putting them on their GX4XL T.O.R.O.

Probably not, if they’re coming with a Taurus. And I say that as an owner of four Taurus guns that I like.

The GX4 is a very nice pistol for the money. Go watch the torture tests online. I was impressed and bought one. TAURUS has stepped up their semi auto game big time

OK new to Pistol Red Dots. Thinking about jumping in and putting one on a Full Size M&P 2.0 Performance Center or a Canik Rival TPNSFX. Would like to stay around 300.00. Share your vast knowledge of the outdoor board. Also a MOA recommendation. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

You should never skimp on something that you are going to use to save your life or your family members life one day. If this is a range toy then by all means get a budget friendly red dot. If this is a bedside or truck gun I would get a top tier device. I have had almost every major brad of red dots made Holosun, Steiner, Trijicon, Riton etc. Trijicon SRO and the Steiner MPS are the best I have ever owned. These devices are Parallax Free with tempered glass.

I have an astigmatism. The better optics with 6 MOA are better for starburst. Keep this into consideration when purchasing.

The LED refresh rate is slower on the lower priced options and create the starburst effect to the eye.

I have a Swamp fox on my Canik. I like it because it is a heavy duty steel not plastic and it fits on perfect

Those look pretty nice. I have their LPVO on my blackout and it has been excellent.

I'll give credit when I see fit, but this answer surprised the shite out of me. Thought you would have been on the high end for optics as well.

If you’re looking for one in Louisiana then primary machine.

Also can recommend fire4effect in El Paso as well as boresight solutions out of Davie FL

Easy install? Did you have to modify at all. I was reading someone had to get different screws

I did have to use different screws… the Holosun provided ones didn’t have the right thread size. Other than that it fit the slide perfectly.
