Here is mine.. She is a 2 year old Chocolate Lab I trained myself... I am very proud to say she works hand signals and picked up every bird for me last season.

Only 7 weeks old, but soon to be a hunter.

Had a rabbit in the backyard last night, got to within 5 feet of it and when the rabbit ran, he ran the opposite way.
In his defence the rabbit was bigger than him.

He was given to me and I originally planned to teach him to hunt. Didn't get to spend enough time training him when he was young, so now he's just a pet.

This is Roscoe he died back in 08. He was only 5 when he passed he had a bad heart. He was the best damn coon dog i have ever owned and have ever seen in the woods. He grandfather was Jet 6. Jet 6 was the winningest Dog of all time. 8 time grandnite champion. LINK

i use her to track deer and bay up hogs we catch in trap. we dont kill hogs in traps. use her to get their attention while we pull them out.

she is just a pain in the arse. she is the "diva" of my back yard.

Man, those short hairs are gorgeous. Love to watch a bird dog work.

My blueticks were out of tree dogs, but I was young and my dad made me give em away before they were old enough to do anything. My uncle had a lot of deer hounds, some blue ticks.
