People that leave piles of hulls on a field or water should have their licenses revoked

Absolute trashy slobs. And then they wonder why public hunting locations get shutdown or private landowners stop having events.

All of us can miss a few empties, but leaving a pile tells me that slob felt he was entitled to trash a place.

I was at a lake recently and there had to be 2 boxes of empty duck shell hulls on the bank where someone had hunted. That sends a bad message to the general public which are neutral at best on the subject of hunting.

Melt over.

It is shitty. Should be a law that you must pick up all plastic hulls on public land. If you don't like it then stay your ads home.

Bruh, you are the first person to suggest any sort of generational disparity. Guilty conscience?

It's a Louisiana Outdoor board, the same folks downvoting are the ones that see a clean piece of ground and throw trash at it.

The same people that ended my cleaning the highway right of way on my property. Cleaned it daily and every night more trash was thrown out along it. Screw it, I quit. Now if the sheriff doesn't have a work crew pick it up, the state mulches it when they mow.

I never knew they were hulls.

Also, you would hate my range. All brass and hulls

But it's mine.

100% this. around 5% of the population hunts. If it ever comes to a vote we rely on the folks who don't hunt but have a neutral or positive view of hunting. Public pressure can do a lot, bear hunting in jersey got cancelled because of it.

Yep. I was on a deer lease that had lots of doves. The landowner told us we could hunt the doves as long as it didn't become a problem. Most of us respected his land and would pick up our empties, but one group of individuals did not. The next year we were told we could no longer lease the land. I went to the landowner and he told me the empty shotgun shells and beer cans left behind by those trashy dumbasses was what did it. He loved his land and expected his leasers to respect his property or get off. Couldn't blame him.

This is the reason I stopped having them on my property. I spent hours after hunts for 3 year picking up trash and hulls in my hay field. On the last year we hunted it, I told everyone before the hunt to clean up after you shoot. Come hunt for free, eat food that I bought and prepared, then trash my property. No thanks. The bad thing about it is most of the folks hunting were family.
