About to go look at some land to lease for next season( had to wait until season closed). Depending on the outcome I will either be sipping some cold bl there while walking it over or at the house while I smoke some deer sausage. Saturday, no plans. Sunday, Super Bowl and crawfish.

The wet desert of South Toledo Bend State Park. Hope to be able to cross the lake to 6 Mile. Heard white rattle trap shallow. Was outcatching red by a mile last week.

The meat just doesn't accept injection, for me, like anything else I cook. Maybe I just suck at it. I have given up even trying.
