Went browsing yesterday for trucks and ran across a loaded sliverado. 2015 LTZ Z71 Package. 4x4. Leather. Sun roof. Dvd player. Everything. They said 10k off sticker immediately. My thing is how are the transmissions? New body style fixed? Or is there still problems with gm?

Buy a Tundra and never worry about having any problems.

Great looking truck. I would start talking them down to $15,000 off msrp.

Only issue I know of is the electronic 4x4 shift. If you engage 4x4 and turn off truck before going back to 2wd, they can get stuck in 4x4. It's a glitch in the control module. Only way we could get my dads back to 2wd was unplug the battery for 10 minutes.

Seems to me that is at Ross Downing. I went to their GMC dealership in November and got $12000 of MSRP on Sierra 1500 SLT CrewCab Z71. So I would expect at least that.

It's a labor of love. I don't know if I would do it again though...

That's a mighty good looking truck.
