That's a good way to get banned from this forum.

And if you want to know who's the guy who gives hunters a bad name? The guy talking about running dogs, trespassing, whipping arse, and burning camps.

Yeah. This guy right here.

Didn’t say I would do any of that. Just saying it ain’t cool to shoot someone’s dog as the other guy implied.

And bad things can happen when you start doing crap like that.

He was responding to someone about shooting his dogs or at least that’s how he took it. I don’t dog hunt but if I did and someone shot my dogs I’d be wanting to beat someone’s arse or burn their shite down also. Frick all that. The comment he responded to was much worse imo

We feed them well(most of these dogs look like death) ...POS owners should be arrested for animal cruelty IMO and whoever lives farthest from the deer lease take the dogs to their local animal shelter back home(usually about 150 miles away) and say they found the dogs roaming on a back road nearby.
then they just toss em in the oven. I’m not sure it is a system you want. Or some dog fighters come buy em out the back door and let pit bulls tear them apart.

and 99% of talk here is bullshite. In my years I’ve never seen a lost dog shot or a camp burned. And I’ve been around plenty of trashy people

I don’t think anyone would disagree. However, what has happened to me in the past is dogs that were let loose find their way onto my property and harass my animals.

At what point am I justified in shooting your dogs because you can’t or won’t keep them off my property and they’re problem animals?

We had a guy shot 2 dogs. One was for a friend of mine. We found one of the dog they shot but not the one for my friend. He swore if he found the dog's body with a bullet hole, he would kill the guy who did it(he was bragging about it). Never found the dog. Also there is a club in my area loses dogs every year. Somehow the tracking collars end up in the lake. Dogs were never found.

No, you don’t. If you actually felt bad you’d stop doing it bc you know what the result will be. Sure, you might have a little increased stress but at the end of the day you aren’t really caring that you messed up the way other guys’ hunts.

You are all the same and give zero fricks as long as you get your hunt in.

I’ve seen plenty deer dogs shot. We used to have a lease back behind the pond store on the river and we’d get dogs at least once a week wander in. We always fed them but lots of other guys weren’t as amused

Grew up dog hunting in Winn Parish before any of those lands got leased from the timber companys or bought by the Busbices. Aint nothing like the excitement of hearing the dogs turn towards you, seeing the flash of antlers, and missing 3X as he hauls arse across the logging trail and then having your shirt tail cut off. Great memories for sure.

I’m okay with dog hunting as long as it’s not near private property. The ones that run near private property are the worst.

You can only run on private property in La.

We lease the land we run on. We don’t just turn loose on or near other peoples property.

Do you have a pet dog? I hope pooch never wanders on your neighbor’s lawn and they shoot him.

WE have a gentleman's agreement with our neighbors about our dogs at home, and if they asked us to stop, us non trashy people would make sure we don't disrespect their wishes...you on the other hand?

You can't tell these dumb frick dog hunters in Mississippi to take their dogs somewhere else where they aren't constantly running their dogs through our lease.

We've tried that..most say "no problem won't happen again" and do it again anyway...over and over...

Some will just flat out tell you they been doing this for 30-40-50 years and aren't about to stop...that sounds like you.

They line the road for at least a mile in their pickups with seats on top the dog boxes and release their dogs onto others leases and shoot deer crossing the road.

I wish we had the stomach to take the dogs out because of their trashy owners...but the dogs don't deserve that fate, just because the owner is trash and knows damn well his dogs are running private leased land.

We have 1200 the neighbor 3500+...

If you are any where on the road near us, you know you intend to send your dogs to push deer we've all been managing for years for mature 8pts. or better hunting from our lease out to the line of trucks.

Then they are not like us. Y’all need to quit lumping all deer dog hunters into 1 category.
