Oklahoma or Kansas for ducks and outfitter recommendations.

I know OK is very saturated now and heavily hunted so thinking of going Kansas.
What says the OB? Also if anyone has recommendations on outfitters it would be appreciated. I had planned to go with Carters Big Island but they are changing what they offer and going way up on the price so looking for somewhere else.

What type of hunting are you looking for? Geese or ducks? Or both? And how big of a group are you willing to hunt with? Some of those outfitters run groups up to 18 people.

I have hunted with Tornado Alley waterfowl. Brandon and Jose are great. I think the offer afternoon upland stuff now, but not sure. It's been several years since I've been there.
Finish line outdoors in Oklahoma was good too, but the guides I've hunted with are doing their own thing now. Opportunity for sand hills with them.
One of the guides, Nathan, operates Twisted Wind in Ks. He was fun to hunt with, knowledgeable and hard working. They post some cool stuff on FB.
Twin Branch, Nebraska, was started by Spencer. He was at HF for a while and Finish Line. Great dude and very knowledgeable.
I have no idea what any of them charge, or if they offer all inclusive packages. They had houses to stay in, but did not offer meals. It has been several years since I've made a big trip.

For Kansas bring an ice chest full of boudain, scout areas, find the ducks, approach farmer/land owner, ask if could hunt their land and inform them you have boudain.
This approach has/is being done in Kansas and works

Duck, if we shoot some geese to so be it but ducks are the target.
And to the other poster we do plan on hitting some public or knocking on doors as well to extend the trip.

I live in NE KS and there are ducks and geese everywhere. I could go out and shoot one tomorrow if I wanted to

My buddy brings 50 pounds of fresh caught shrimp and does a nice boil for them with all the normal stuff like corn, sausage, etc. They love it. He can hunt 5-6 adjoining farms any time he wants. It’s past the point of hunting. He’s buddies with them going on 10 years now.

i used to guide for Flyover state outfitters out of marlow. just got back from a trip there with my dad and some friends.
we shot cranes, mallards and wigeon for two days and the last day shot some geese.
highly recommend them, they are in southwest Oklahoma.
Brad with albeck is awesome. he is to the north of where are. he always smokes the geese, but he is booked up for the season.
there are lots of outfitters like you state din Oklahoma now. another good one is bluestem and red rock in the northeast side of the state.

Carters Big Island is down that way off the Neosho River. They smash the green.

I hunt SE KS and NE OK. It can be good. I typically don’t do guided hunts but I did make a trip with Summerduck Outfitters out of Independence, KS. I would recommend them based off my experience. My impression is that they can accommodate a duck only hunt if you wanted.

I saw Nick who owns Midnight Blue was just at Tornado Valley Outfitters. Looks nice.
