Got back from downtown Selby to discover that jimjackandjose registered the first kill of the trip. Quartering away in the kitchen just after dark. We're gonna let him sit til morning, just in case. Hoist pics coming in AM.

I think we are going to spread out and do some scouting and press some landowner flesh this morning. These licenses are F'd up, myself, Wick and Whiskey are the only ones that can legally hunt public land, the rest had to spend $125 for the right to bribe landowners. I do have a couple ponds located loaded, but the birds really haven't started their migration south. If Hoss ever wakes up it will be a good opportunity for him to sit in the blind next to me with camera and notepad and learn a thing or two. Got to go start his hot chocolate, lay out his clothes and pack him some snacks. It's all about the kids fellas. #iremembermyfirst6pack
