Don't. There is better tech out there. The Q muzzle devices suck and the cans are lacking. I would personally wait and get a CAT. They are currently the most impressive manufacturer in my opinion. I was a huge CGS guy and still like their stuff, but CAT is the only cans I would buy right now if it were my money.

The JL Titanium is in stock. How do you compare ODB vs JL?

If you ever use that gun with gloves, you'll take that ambi safety off pretty quickly.
What do you mean?

Those ambi switches ways get hung up on your hand or glove when you flip them

JL is really good. Would buy for a bolt gun but not optimized for ARs like ODB

You mean the left side with the short lever?

Yeah. Even the short levers cause issues. At least in my experience anyway.

Good thing I can easily remove that short lever. We'll see, I guess.

Y’all are wearing gloves?

Is it your trigger finger side or thumb getting hung up? I've never has an issue. I have gloves I'll shoot with, granted I don't use them much. Ambi safety is so much nicer to put back on safe.

Gets hung up on the top of your index finger. I've also seen some people say it'll inadvertently get switched to safe or fire.
I don't think I've ever felt a need to manipulate the safety on my non dominant side. I can see the need for an ambi charging handle but not a selector. But I'm a retard so it could just be me.

Switching back to safe with my thumb side causes more of a grip change. Switching to safe with the trigger finger side is just a shift up with that knuckle/base of finger to flip back to safe. At least with a 45 degree throw.
Makes no difference on the range really, but when I want to be tacticool and run around shooting at steel plates from different pre-assembled plywood cutout barriers, it'd be more efficient. Have I ever done that.....no, but one can dream.

Thats what I have been trying out since the selectors I have can do both. I like it and I use my thumb to go hot and my trigger finger to go back to safe.

Is that a gold BCG?
It tis. A while back Faxon did a run of TiN barrels and LW BCG so I grabbed a set to go with the space force lower...its just taken me some years to get to building it

I just rcvd three nickle boron BCGs from PSA that I ordered last week: (Toolcraft Logo'd Premium 5.56 Nickel Boron BCG with Carpenter 158 Bolt - x3 $99.99) .... these things are amazing. I just ran them through the specs and then put them under the microscope .... I wish I had bought more.
Five years ago these would have been $499.00 each minimum.
Take advantage of it while it lasts men.

The wait begins.
Ordered an MCX-Spear LT 16" y-day.
I have a Nightforce 1-8 that isn't being used that I'll put on it.

Y'alls thoughts on The School Of The American Rifle You tube channel? Very knowledgeable guy that doesn't seem to have an agenda, or does he? He's got me rethinking my bolt carrier purchases.

Chad is legit.

Microbest and KAK are the best 2 for the money imo. Microbest chrome w/ phosphate extractor is legit.
