I have seen those and wondered how well they were made. I got some cheaper mlock QD mounts and I'm impressed with them.

The only one I've ever seen in person had a really bad qd slot. It was so tight, you had to hammer in the clips. Other than that, though, there is virtually no difference. I mean, it's just injected, molded polymer that probably costs SBA about $2 to make and some Chinese slave factory 30 cents.
And they were selling them for $130 a year or so ago. It's insanity the markup on some parts.

I've had a couple of sling attachments that were out of tolerance.. Mainly locking attachments. The cheaper ones fit better than the more expensive magpul ones I bought. Both machined of aluminum.

If building a suppressed .300 blk what buffer would you need to use.
I'm thinking an H2 but maybe an H3 might be needed?
the plan is to use a 7.5" or 6" Faxon barrel.

H2 with an adjustable gas block. The adj gas block on a suppressed gun is the only way to go.

H2 version of JP silent capture spring if suppressed, it’s a very noticeable difference to me.

Anyone have any experience with Geissele 42 springs?
Thoughts?

This is the route I was planning. Wanted to get the weight right so I don't have to buy another one when I figured out I guessed wrong.

I saw the other day Brownells.com sells one specifically for suppressed use...between $150-175

Preciate it, never seen that before

I'm waiting on an 11.5 barrel version. Might cave and get the 10.3

Looking for opinions on AMD UIC mod 2 in 223 Wylde. Factory build, has Criterion barrel and Gieselle trigger. 16” bbl, under 7lbs. Thinking about trading for one. Like new

ADMs are some of the best rifles on the market.
I think they look better and have better barrels than Radians. They're probably the best combo of high end precision and durability for the price.

Brought my AR into the gunsmith to address some mag drop issues and found a few pretty sweet deals on some used barebones ARs. I've never shot either brand (at least in an AR platform), and curious if the OB has any thoughts on either.
Option 1: Ruger MPR at $849.99 with an 18" barrel 1 in 8" chambered in 5.56
Option 2: Palmetto State Armory PA-15 at $749.99 with a 16" barrel 1 in 7" chambered in 5.56
I'm not so much looking to reach out to further distance and touch targets, more of something I can use for shoot & move training and doing some work in a shoot house my buddy has built in the mountains, so the 16" speaks to me more than the 18", but I know I can always change out the barrel I guess.
I currently shoot a Core XV Scout in 5.56, and I'm wanting to expand my library a little.
TIA!

That's gorgeous and the charging handle is substituted for a side bolt handle. I like.
