Just bought one similar in 300 blackout and it's awesome. Near identical.

I think it would be just fine. I went with Areo on my AR10 for upper/lower and parts just because I wanted to make sure everything fit. The BCG is toolcraft on that upper so you should be fine.

I would get a Superlative Adj gas block. Makes running a breeze especially if you are gonna run a can on it.

Just finished my AR10 build. Hoping to go shoot it this weekend. Just waiting on my indecisive self to make a decision on optic.

I put a flat wire spring in my LR 308, can't believe how much smoother it operates

Yep, they are some of the best. Geissele is great but TT is next level.

Completely agree. The CMCs I have a fine, great for the price point. I like the SSA-Es as well. But man this TT is incredible. I’ll be ordering another adaptable soon for the next build.

Shot my AR10 last night. Couldn’t get it to cycle. Tried every gas setting and I could get it to throw the old brass but wouldn’t pick up the next round. Put on the suppressor and had it cycling perfect and throwing brass at 4:00. Guess I’m not going to worry about it since I’ll never shoot in unsuppressed?

I was having feed issues but first put another BCG in, that helped. Then put the flat wire spring in and I don't even need to put the adjustable gas block on. I'll save it for another rifle. The BCG was enhanced for suppressor use, but was a problem with the normal carbine buffer spring.

The spring smoothed everything out, no feed issues nor short primer strikes afterwards.

H3 Buffer, Extended buffer tube, flat wire spring should fix just about any feeding issues.

The range location is pretty sweet. There's an icefield behind the first set of ridges. Tongass National Forest covers all the background area.

Just finished this one up. Still a couple things to add later, offset red dot and go ahead and form 1 a Geissele lower to match. Probably swap the trigger out too but excited to get out and give this one a shot.

I need some yay or nay’s on a couple things.

I’m helping my dad convert an early 2000’s flat top Bushmaster with the A frame gas block/sight. Will be adding an SLR adjustable block and full length rail.

My question is, is a Midwest Industries key mod rail a good/sufficient option?

Will The only parts I need be a gas tube, block, and hand guard?

Not the same handguard, but here is a step by step guide on how to remove a front sight post and install a free float handguard.

Keymod over MLOK?
I'd also look at Aero Precision rails, especially the Atlas line.

I've got Atlas R rail on my LR 308. Its perfect. I prefer the R to the S, I like the complete top rail.

I got a few of Aero's ultralight scope mounts too. Really like them.

I love the Atlas S. It still has a rail at the very end for a backup sight.
