What’s your opinions on del-ton? I’m thinking for the first time buy I’d get one for cheaper and change out parts over time as I choose and learn more about it. Are they well made?

Thanks. That’s what I figured with The prices .Getting a bit overwhelmed with choices and thinking I may just buy a completed AR now

What’s y’all thoughts on American Defense Mfg? IG has them @$1363 with a Steiner 3x included. Was going to pick up a DD V7 LW in the next couple weeks, but this deal caught my eye.

Looks nice, but do you need all that tactiCOOL stuff?
They make good mounts but I know nothing about their rifle quality. Ask on m4carbine.net

I do not own a UIC Mod 1 but I do own a UIC Mod 2. Interesting enough I bought it at Interstate Guns. Definitely not cheap but loaded with features. They have a very solid premium feel to them, much more so than any of the Daniel Defense rifles. Makes my Colt 6940 feel like a rattle trap.
If you can swing it, I'd grab an ADM.

Yeah, after doing some research, it seems to be a fine stick. The $1363 price is pretty good since it comes with a free optic that's $400 on Amazon.

Thanks I had the lower, trigger and UBR already from another build that didn’t get finished. Always wanted a 6.8 so I figured why not build one for the boy. Made it easier to explain to the wife ;)

If you have magazines, all you need really is a good sling. The ADM is more of a pay up all out once type versus paying little at time for features and accessories.

What’s the recommendation on lpvo scopes? I’m leaning towards the Kahles k16i based on its 1x performance and weight, but I’d like a front focal plane scope. Can anyone compare it to the Trijicon 1-8 Accupower?
