PSA has a LPK with their polished nickel trigger and Magpul MOE grip and trigger guard for $61 with free shipping. Seems like a great bargain kit to base a build on. Pulled the trigger on one. Have a bunch of spares that will turn into a new rifle. And that is how they multiply. Just need an upper receiver, buffer tube kit, and BCG.

Will the Midwest Industries MLOK fit on your billet upper?

Can the OB learn me on stripped AR lower receivers that come with markings at the selector switch for Safe, Semi, and Auto?
If you buy one of these stripped lowers but build it out as a typical semi auto AR:
Is this illegal?
Is it legal but probably not a good idea?
Or is it perfectly acceptable/common?

It's legal and common. As long as it doesn't actually function as a full auto then you are good to go.

Yes, in fact the MK1 and MLR-15 models actually use the 15" Midwest Ind. G3M MLOK rail.

Are you open today? I'm probably gonna swing by and pick some things up for my new build.

Yes, although, we are out of stock on our stripped billet receivers. Give us a call to see if we have what you are looking for. Most of the parts we are getting in are going into the rifles we are pumping out. Contact info: LINK

Tell me about a bushmaster 5.56. Good gun or what?

Not after the Freedom Group buyout.

I'm gonna swing by anyway. I'm just starting to acquire parts for my build and it doesn't really matter which order I buy them in.
If I wasn't so set on doing a build I'd buy one of yours. They're good looking rifles.

I'm really wanting to get and AR.........specifically build an AR. I don't currently have one and honestly don't know shite about assembling them.
Would the best route be to buy one of the kits + a stripped lower............for a novice builder.
Or just go buy a damn AR assembled? I think I'd get more satisfaction from building it myself.

Does anyone have any experience with DSA AR15 M16 Cut Complete NTFE Sand Cut Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group? The NTFE is supposed to be like robars NP3 but is not his NP3 maybe? And sand cuts? I like what I read about np3 vs NiB coatings so id like to try it out.

Building one from scratch isn't hard if you know what you're doing, but it can be a headache if you don't. My advice is go buy one off the shelf and play with it enough until you feel comfortable building one. Then build one knowing what you like and dislike about the first one. If you say you only want/need one then you are lying to yourself.

Watch YouTube and build it yourself.

I'm in the process of my first AR. I ordered a stripped lower and all the parts and assembled it on my own. It was not hard at all with the right tools and watching a few youtube videos. I'll be assembling the upper tonight with the help of a buddy who has experience though.
Only thing I can warn you of is watch out for the addiction. I'm already shopping parts for my second one and my first isn't even finished lol

Do you have a vice to hold the parts?
About how much $$$$ you got in the build?
