How you boys feel about key mod vs mlok handguards?
Both are substantially better than a quad rail imo, significantly less bulk and much lighter. As far as which of the 2 is better, many companies are making accessories for both these days. Personally I'm team M-LOK because certain things I like were only available in M-LOK initially, and I think it looks better.

MLOK will likely render Keymod moot in a few years. Many retailers are selling 3-4 MLOK rails to every 1 Keymod, according to a poll I read. I'm going to SHOT with a company that manufactures a lot of high end accessories and they said that all of their peers are putting all their chips on MLOK. Keymod had first mover advantage and endorsement from Noveske, but it is harder to cut, uglier, and MLOK is the better system due to the lack of a directional component.

I have key mod, but that's mainly because I wanted the BCM kmr rail. I think key mod looks cooler but m-lok has more advantages and market support. I will probably go with m-lok on future builds.

What's a good light to put on my AR? Or is that not cool on the OB?

If your rail allows it, I run a Surefire mini scout at 1o'clock on an Arisaka inline mount, with the pressure switch at 11 in a Magpul mounting plate. I really like the positioning and it keeps everything sleek. Also if you're on a budget, Arisaka offers their own version of the scout.

Picked up a Shockwave Blade from Primary Arms for $30. Also trying out a 16" stainless steel barrel they had for $80.

such short barrel life in those stainless barrels compared to their chrome/nitrided counter parts. If you're not benchrest shooting I wouldn't bother with them.

Picked up a Silencerco Hybrid for my SBR build and current 16". Thinking about the ASR brake for the long and flash hider for the short.
Also figure I should get the piston and a threaded barrel and give it a whirl on my G19.

I use the ASR brake for my Omegas and they work well. Congrats on the Hybrid

Seems like a ton of people are pulling the trigger on NFA stuff to get ahead of 41F. Going to be some long as wait times after July 15th. I predict 12-14 month wait times post 41F. Hope I am wrong.

How hot does your ARs get when y'all are at the range?
I was exercising my rights today with it being the best holiday weekend ever and my barrel was sizzling after the first 30 rds.
