Is there anyway to lighten the trigger on an AR without buying a new trigger assembly?

can you add an A2 style front sight to a mid length Ar and keep the existing gas block? Just slide the sight post on over the barrel? Will it match up to the rail or look all mis matched?

Look up Bill springfield or buy a jprifles spring kit or put a couple thousand rounds through it.

Yes you can. They call that a dissipator. Pretty cool setup.

Are you looking to put the sight at the rifle length position or butt it up against the existing gas block. If it is the latter, then just run the FSB. No need for 2 gas blocks. If it is the former you will need to make sure the diameter of the barrel is .750 where you want to put the FSB, which it likely is not. Maybe a .625 FSB would work, but I would imagine they are hard to find. Either way you would also then need to pin it in place. The easiest solution if you are looking to increase sight radius, which would probably cost the same as adding the FSB after everything, is to just put on a 15" free float rail and add your front sight at the very front.

Yeh. I'm thinking about a 15" rail instead of my 12". Bcm kmr. But I'm not sure I like that look over the 13". Back and Forth

Picking up my SW MP15 Sport 2 Tmmw after work! My background came in delayed for some reason (see my thread).
It's been a long couple of days

Are you going 15" or 13"?

Not sure. Like both. Every time I think I decided I change my mind.
Here is my recent decision and why
I may go 15" for my 16" rifle
I own a 10.5 with 10" rail
So one short and one long both rails to the end
I do want a third rifle with a shorter rail. Like a carbine. Or a mid with a A2 style post.
So betweent the three I'll have different styles and looks
But I like theb13". Lighter too
See. Decisions decisions

Why is that muzzle device so long on a 16" barrel? Or is that just the angle
Posted on 2/3/16 at 7:56 pm to Crawdaddy
I prefer the 15". The difference in weight between my 15" rails and 13" rails is 1.1oz. So, if weight is a big decision for you don't sweat it too much. You won't notice a difference.

Ditched the idea for the BCM Mod-0. Just installed an AAC Blackout flash hider, can't wait to give it a run this weekend.
Also picked up an Inforce WML, 200 lumens and a nice compact package for only $130. I already had their APL on my Glock 19 and really liked it.

I hear some good stuff about this light but I hear a ton of breakage stories as well. I guess that's what happens when you run the hell out of a plastic light. I hope yours lasts a long time.
