That's about right. I think I got my M3s for under $14 after the craziness died down and thought that was a good deal.

How many mags are you guys maintaining as part of your basic load? Is 10 mags enough?
Posted on 2/8/16 at 9:32 am to OleWarSkuleAlum
Basic combat load is 7, just FTR. Between PMAGs and GI mags, I'm sitting on about 30.

When I was still in I was running one of these on the left and right sides of my air warrior vest...
And wearing a war belt loaded out much like this...
So on my person I had 14 M4 magazines with one in my weapon and 4 m9 magazines with another in my weapon. In my bugout bag I had in the cockpit I carried an extra IFAK and 5 M4 magazines. It made for a tight fit in the front seat of an apache since I'm also 6'2" 210lbs.

I picked up an Armalite DEF10B for another CQB rifle last weekend. I have been to the Armalite website to buy more magazines but i dont see they have much in stock, other than 5-10 rounders. Hoping one of yall might point me in a direction for some in higher capacity. Thanks OB.

I like to pick up one or two PMAGs every time I'm at academy.

Since its a fun gun, I haven't checked how many are actually loaded.
I have somewhere between 30-40. Need to get them all loaded up again.
Unless I'm wearing plates(which hasn't happened in like 10 years) I've only got one in the gun and two on my belt. The rest are going in a backpack.

Official in the AR gang now bought a colt le6920 first thing I need is a case and a strap/sling.. What size case and should I go with soft or hard case.. I will not be flying anywhere with it but the case is probably where it will be stored I do not have a gun safe at the moment

Should I get the sets or do I just need one or two?
those will be fine. I use Starrett's punch set, but they're pricy

I prefer soft cases, 42" should work fine. Hard cases I find are clunky, heavy and just don't move and load in the truck as well as soft cases. They also tend to be more expensive for a good one.

Do I need the entire set of is there only 1 or 2 sizes across the entire lower?

I use THIS to drive in the bolt catch roll pin most of the way. Then finish with a 1/8 roll pin punch until flush and drive it a little bit into the hole with a 3/32 roll pin punch. For the Trigger guard I start it with a 1/8" roll pin starter punch IIRC, may be a little wider. Then drive it in with whatever larger punch is next to me. 3/16" ought to do it. The fire control group pins I push in by hand, maybe a little tap with a hammer, no punch.
ETA: I would still get the whole set. Unless you're really pinching pennies, in which case you could do the whole thing with an 1/8", or around there, regular ol' punch from the hardware store. Special tools make special jobs especially easier.
