How good is the shipping for RRA products? I ordered a LPK with 2 stage trigger from them on Jan 1 and still haven't been given any shipping info or a timetable.

I ordered a trigger on Dec 10 and didn't get my shipping info until Jan 4. So it takes a while! It did arrive though, still gotta put it in.

Eta:I built my AR with a PSA lpk, just wanted to start basic and upgrade as I go, so the RRA 2 stage trigger is my first upgrade. What should be next? My upper was an assembled PSA PTAC upper, love my Midwest industries rail. Was thinking charging handle... Thoughts?

Pretty good video illustrating different zeros.

I do a 50.
Guess it just depends on the work you're doing.

Also, if you aren't aware on .300 you can cut down .223/5.56 brass (basically at the shoulder), then run it
through the sizing die and then trim it.

I have watched a few vids on that process and it doesn't look too bad. What are you using to cut the cases?

What's ya'll opinion of the Delton Sport 15? Came with dust cover and fwd assist for 499. Looked like a solid buy for a first timer.

I have a delton upper and the only problem with mine was that it didn't like monarch brass from academy but eats the shite out of wolf. Fit and finish was just as nice as my other uppers. So far i have a colt, delton, palmetto state, and a cmmg.

What causes you problems? Past the trigger, your optics or sights are going to improve your shooting the most, IMHO. Bolt catch, magazine release and safety selectors are 100% subjective/convenience items, again, IMHO. If none of those are "broken" (for you), I wouldn't fix them with an expensive aftermarket upgrade.

ETA: One thing to be concerned with is getting a charging handle that will work with whatever optic you choose. Settle on the optic before upgrading the charging handle. That's about the biggest conflict that can arise on that part of the upper.

I would recommend setting upgrade money aside for either optics or your next build - you can have a dozen AR-15s, each built for a particular type or range of shooting. That's the real fun of the platform.

Yes I've been having an 80% lower in my closet for a few years. Just haven't gotten around to doing the finish work on it yet.

Anyone have experience with the BCMGunfighter Compensator Mod 0? Have been reading a lot of reviews and it seems to get good marks on both flash suppression and recoil management.
