the hole was really small to see through, the visibility of it was pretty bad especially when it got dusk .

Most all have a flip rear sight with a larger aperture for that very situation.

Hell, my S&W M&P 15-22 even has that.

I guess he knows there are two of those on the magpul. One with a small hole and one with a big hole. You can flip between the two.

Make sure he wasnt using the airsoft version, they may not have two apertures.

I know 2 people that got duped with the PTS airsoft sights.

They'd actually be pretty good for a .22 build IMO. The only difference is the type of polymer/plastic used I think.

Yea, you got a damn fine piece for sure. Go look up the Troy rails and the CHF barrel elsewhere.

I ordered another Daniel assembly from PK this weekend, the 18" for an SPR. The rail listed on Daniel Defense sells for $365, and the barrel itself for $340. It was right under $900 total, so the rest for a BCG, CH, and upper that may not be on par with the BCM package isnt too bad at all. Still may get a couple BCM BCGs just to put in them down the road.

Yea man, I'm going to sit tight for a while. Maybe things will calm down towards the end of the year. I'm content with my AK for now, and would rather now build and AR when the ammo is this expensive.

Yeah thats what the larger aperture is for. You use that for CQB and low light settings.

Same here. Got 3 complete lowers now and content to sit on them til things calm, get back in stock and prices fall a bit on the rest now. One last thing I may purchase if I come across til then though, may be a .308 lower.

My plans are:

Build a 300 Blk
Build a 5.56 with DE furniture
Build a 5.56 plain black

If I do get the 308, may do that one in FG.
