Happens to me all the fricking time. Second to biggest buck I've ever seen in the woods (behind the one I missed during bow season last year) I had squirrels and a dillo behind me all hunt. I kept slowly turning to check it out and it was always the same shite. At about 4 I heard it again and I just spun around real quick to see the squirrels, leaving my gun resting across the shooting rail...fricking big arse 9 point staring straight at me. Nothing I could do, every time I moved an inch he's stop and stare. I managed to grab my gun and bring it around but by that time he made his way down the other side of the hill. Bastard.
