Always are. I've hunted welsh for teal every year since '06 and it has been outstanding every year. They are in the rice belt without a doubt.

not in our rice belt in Wright. rice was cut 2 weeks ago and ponds on monday. pops said didnt see a bird today

I saw a few small groups out at my place this morning at sunrise. Doesn't look like I'll make the trip unless I see a ton of birds tomorrow morning.

Im hearing some great reports coming from pool 5, bishops point area of the red river. Hopefully the shooting on the river will push birds our way.

I counted about 3,000 on the aerial survey this afternoon.
