Damn I hate it for them at HR&G. I knew they took it on the chin with Rita. Frick, I hate it for all of those that are gonna lose everything over there after this and that poor marsh is gonna take years to recover. All I can say is prayers up.

My buddy’s family has a camp at heberts. He texted me Sunday/Monday joking about how our next upcoming trip this fall was not likely to happen. That’s quickly changed to worrying that his house won’t be destroyed in LC and that everybody still has a home to return to. It sucks to have to rebuild camps but losing homes and businesses is hard to imagine. Lives are what can’t be replaced and hopefully everybody that could have gotten out evacuated. Glad you’re safe for now.

Can’t thank you enough for getting my dads (BJ) boat out and going to take recon pics of the camp on Kale Ryan. That was a huge relief this morning.

Feeling very fortunate and prayers go out to who all who have been effected. We’ll be down as soon as we’re able for repairs and to help neighbors out.

ETA: Turns out the pic came from someone else but the thanks still stands for the boat!

Can’t get it but the gun survived with minimal damage. The BJ has some shingles in it but they’ll be cleaned up before it goes back.
Buddy filled his 23v up with water and the wind flipped it during the storm, totaled motor, tm, console.
