How does a Nikon Monarch 5 compare to other scopes in that price range ($500-600)?
Natchez has them on sale for quite a bit off.

I hate it when people post deals from Natchez since they don't ship to Alabama or Georgia

I have a Monarch 3 on my deer rifle and it has been great.
I had it side by side with a similar Vortex and bought the Nikon because it was more crisp and let in more light.

Something about being the wholesale supplier for multiple retail stores in these states. They have a contract where they cant undercut their retailers prices.

Pay a few extra bucks and get a Burris Veracity. They have a $100 mail in rebate on them now. I bought a 3-15-50 last week for SWFA and with rebate came to $494. Its a FFP as well.

I live in AL, work in GA, and my parents/family live in TN. The three states I could get something shipped for cheap are the 3 they don't ship to. Assholes

Put a refurbished Monarch 3 on 300 WBY a few years ago. $250 or so. It's been a good scope. Bright.

I have that in 3x15x50BDC. For my old eyes & others who have seen it, I think it's pretty good glass. I say that comparing it to my Burris Fullfield E2. I know there are better scopes out there, but in the $350-$450 range( on sale) it's a pretty good option that doesn't break the bank.
Admitting now I'm not an OT Baller & can't justify high end optics. I've not had a chance to look thru what Meopta has to offer, but it seems like many on this board talk highly of their clarity.
