New Truck Thread

Just picked up a 2014 Tundra Crewmax Limited 4X4. Looked at the Sierra with the 6.2, but I liked the interior of the Tundra more, and I had absolutely no problems with my last Tundra. This one is black on black and I love it! Except the pinstripe and old man running boards.

Almost. I had the deal done and they were doing a dealer trade to get this in. They kept jerking me around on the delivery date and I let them know how I felt about it. Long story short, I had their loaner sitting in my driveway and everything pretty much done. After I got off the phone with them, they had their feelings hurt so bad they refused to sell me the truck. I got toyota corporate involved and they still refused, even though the manufacturer asked them to. Then corporate called other local dealers and they all accepted the deal at toyotas asking. Sight unseen.

It's the weather tech mats. Fit pretty well. And I like how it covers the entire back carpet.

Nice truck. I have one, and my next one will be a Tundra as well. If you drive a lot you will be very happy (at the ride, not gas mileage).
I've been driving a rental for my work truck for the past month. It's a goshdarn F-150, and after 300-400 miles each day I feel like I just played an NFL football game at the end of the day. Fords are pretty trucks, and they are very good offroad vehicles, but for riding a lot on the highway they are years behind the comfort of a Tundra.

Yeah, I had one before and it gave me no problems whatsoever. Wish they would have upped the power train with the redesign, but oh well. I couldn't talk myself into buying anything else.

Pull those running boards off asap. The pinstripe is pretty bad too, like you said. If they make a color matched grill surround I'd pick that up too. Bought my Tacoma one new off of eBay, good $200 upgrade.
