Is that the thing at a fair where everybody walks between the rides?

Thanks

Serious answer... Don't get them. Get Adams A7OS if you're a beginner.

Truth.

Honestly, I'd recommend picking up a fairly cheap set to start out with. Any of the beginner sets for <$200 will do. Unless you've played and have any kind of experience, you're going to be so incredibly terrible that no club can help you. You're also likely to get so frustrated you wrap a club around a tree.

As you get better, buy a good driver and a fairway woods here and there. When you're decent, spring for a nice set of irons and then you'll have a good set.

Pinemeadow makes some fairly inexpensive good quality clubs if you need to pick up a wedge or putter to complete your starter set. They usually come with a PW and fairly crappy putter.

Set of ping eye2 clubs off ebay. Cheap, fairly forgiving and you can grow into them. Can pick up a set for under 100 on ebay if your patient or a set for 150 at anytime.

Don't do it.

Buy used from one of the bigger names: Callaway, Titleist, Cleveland, Taylor Made etc.

THIS. Name brands in golf actually does make a difference.

Better metals = more distance and forgiveness.

Buy a $100 set from Academy. If you're still playing when they wear out or you figure out why they are so bad, then buy Pings.

No they are bad. Never have clubs that are better than you're game.

i've been playing years with a $150 set of clubs and I do fine with them. I added in a new driver, some fairway woods, wedges, putter as I got better. buying a set of irons at this point would just be a waste. The ones I have do fine.

Horrible idea. Terrible clubs. Results may not match ability. Having quality shafts alone makes it worth while to get used from top OEM.
