I am looking for a relatively inexpensive grain free, high protein food for my dogs. They are labs and seem to have allergies (hence the grain-free).

Last bag I bought was 60 bucks.

Whats the OB say?

There was a thread on this a while back but I don't know how to use the search function. I tried for you but it returns me a nothing found.

The search function on this board sucks. In the future, go to google.com and type in 'search word' and put in tigerdroppings at the end. It works 90% of the time everytime.

ETA: I feed by dog Blue Buffalo. You'll get a lot of Diamond responses on here.

Being that I work for Hill's Pet Nutrition...it is obvious. We have 82% of the high end market for a reason. Hills invented this type of food. All others are simply imitators.

go to dogfoodanalysis.com and make your own judgements. You can see whats really in the food and get an unbiased review of it. and actually Orijen seems to be the way to go these days, but its pricey. Orijen regional red.

I feed diamond lamb and rice. Best bang for buck that I've found. There's better feeds out there, but you will pay a wholeeeeee lot more and they are not worth the increase in price IMO. It would be cheaper to feed your dog ground meat than what it costs to feed some of the stuff out there.

After reading the last dog food thread i have switched my dog food. Was feeding alpo cans and kibbles n bits hard food. Went to the tractor supply yest and picked up "4 health" dog food to try. Was like 20 bucks for the 18lb bag and 1dollar a can. Starting the new food today
