Entre also shoots rifles into a barrel of sand before purchasing from a pawn shop.

So what most people dont realize is that hemp socks can later be deconstructed in to a snare that will catch anything from wampus cats to groonches

If you are in Baton Rouge swing by the Backpacker off of Jefferson Highway. They have very legit quality stuff. Especially socks. Picked up some really nice smart wool socks and other things that are top notch

I have both Darn Tough and Smartwool. I have found that the lightest weight Darn Tough socks don't stay up with my boots, but the Smartwool ones do. I still like Darn Tough socks better in every other weight

Darn tough, smart wool, or hot chilies. If you are ever heading towards Knoxville stop by the Sock Shop in Sweetwater just off I75. They have a knockoff smartwool sock with the Head label that is a great sock at a great price. They usually have hot chilies as well.

I've reached a point in life where I'd rather spend money on high quality underwear and socks than fashionable clothes

Fortunately I can buy nice socks and drawers and still buy decent clothes, but if I had to pick, I'd buy jeans and shirts at thrift. lol

Point being, get the good socks.

Smartwool is the best, but they are proud of their product.

If the material isn't merino wool, ignore the suggestion. Merino wool is light years better than any other fabric for every metric imaginable for socks.

Fits are awesome. Best thing IMO is the extra toe space, the extra room keeps your toes from getting cramped and cold. Otherwise the socks are really tight around the ankle and arch for good support and dont rub your feet.

If it weren't for the OB, there would be 400 random Brands that i had never heard of.

I got some socks made by Columbia. They’re pretty damn comfortable.

Smartwool, pricey but lasts. I still have the first pair I bought back in 2011.

Both Darn Tough and Smartwool have lifetime warranties. I've only used the Smartwool one so far, but it has been easy to swap them out twice

Finally wore a hole in a pair of those and wig wam. Took 7 years of regular use. I wear wool socks almost exclusively.
