If you're using a stain, use a pre stain conditioner. I can not stress this enough.

I recently got into some woodworking with wine/whiskey barrels and have made a few things. It is fun to work with the wine barrel staves as they have a curve to them and can create some cool stuff. Where you get these from? I've been trying to get my hands in a barrel

Starting on an outdoor cookstation, it's going to have a concrete countertop. Off to the left will be a hole for my Weber kettle, in the center I'll have a 2 burner outdoor stove, off to the right I'll have my griddlle. Below I'll store my big easy oil less fryer, crawfish burner and pot and butane bottle.

Not really the neatest thing I've built, but it's sure worked wonders for our garage space. Wrapping the whole garage with this eventually. Will cut out the need to store anything in our attic. I'm slightly proud of how cheap, easy, and effective it has been (<$100)

Nice work. I just got a weber kettle and I can't wait to get started on my cook station after I finalize the plans.

Do you have plans for that buffet? My wife would love for me to build her that!
