Toughest, smartest, & funniest guy I ever knew. Dwayne P. This MAN hunted & fished every square inch of the western half of Kansas. Diesel mechanic that busted his arse his whole life providing for his wife, 2 kids, & 5 grandsons he adored more than anything. We were poor but didn't bother us a bit. I hope as I finish out my life I can be half the man he was! Would y'all send one up for a good ol' baw please? Many thanks!

Sorry for your loss Boxer. If anyone wants to know what a baw is, I’d say your pops seems to have been that. Thanks for sharing. I pray the Lord grant you and your family peace that passes all understanding during this time.

Lost my Dad this year.

I’d like to tell you it gets better, but I honestly believe a piece of me died with him.

Throwing a prayer up for you.

My sincerest condolences. I face that memory of mine every day of my dad going. It still hurts me although I know he’s not suffering. I pray you find peace.

Same here

With time it gets better but just remember those special times together and cherish them.

So sorry for your loss

Sorry for your loss. I , like many others, lost my dad also. He passed away in 2010 and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. It’s especially hard this time of year.
Try to remember the good times you had with him and keep his memory alive that way .

So sorry man. It’s tough, it’s been 13 years since my dad passed. Taught me everything I know about hunting and fishing. He had me following him through the woods not long after I could walk. Remember those good times…prayers.

My pops passed away in 2017. Saddest day of my life, it does get better, but you’ll catch yourself thinking about him a lot more than you think. All good memories though and you’ll see him in random things. Mine is butterflies. Praying for you brother.

RIP.

Your dad looks like he gots them knuckles baw.

Sorry to hear. Pain is love. Time heals pain. You'll end up missing the pain eventually. Cherish in the times you had and be grateful for all he did for you and your family.

RIP to your dad.

Mine passed away 38 years ago, I still think about him everyday.

Still go visit him at the cemetery every month or so.
