Here are few pics of the hunt.

My elk and deer are smaller rack wise from last year, but I wasn't going for a trophy.

Just wanted the freezer filled.

We started hunting Wednesday morning and I was able to shoot my deer Thursday morning and my elk Thursday afternoon. Only 5 out of 10 hunters were able to shoot an elk. Felt lucky that I was able to get one this year.

2 of the guys I was with did not want there mule deer, so I came back with 3 deer and an elk. Freezer is packed!

If you don't already have a freezer alarm then you should invest in one for sure.

Sweet!! Just got back from Montana myself. Went to White Sulphur Springs. Got decent little 4X4 myself. Was not able to draw a deer/elk combo, but did end up with an antelope tag, which I had to eat. My pics look a lot like yours. Snow everywhere and deep too.

Wow. That freezer is packed. And probably the most organized I’ve ever seen too.

That's pretty damn good odds if you ask me.

Nice hunt.

That mule deer aint worth a damn except for jerkey sticks. All they eat is sage brush, aint like a whitetail. You hunted on foot? damn son, I thought it was tough on horseback. I aint man enough to climb those mountains on foot and pack a deer out, better to ride up and drag em down. What section you hunt?

Yep, been twice. Great place and people. Alot better to hunt off horse, especially for a fat little coonass lowlander.

What's a hunt like that cost? Are tags hard to get?

I have taken the mule deer to Vines and had it processed. I think it is some of the best damn deer sausage and hamburger I have had honestly. My roommate likes it as well.

Poster on here was going with us in 2018. He got a good deal on the hunt but has to back out

If you are interested in buying his hunt out, I think he would sell it.

Tags in that area for combo are almost guaranteed and costs $1000. The hunt is normally $5500 but he paid up front way in advance and got a pretty good price break.

jgthunt is the guy.
