We are considering cutting the cord in our house. We just really don’t watch enough to justify monthly bill. The only thing I’ll really miss is all of the MLF and BASS shows that I DVR. Is there a way to watch this online? Is there a subscription or anything? I’ve been looking at their respective websites and I’m not really sure. I used to be more tech savvy, but I guess I’m turning into a grandpa.

You can watch MLF through the MyOutdoorTV app. It’s $10 a month. Not sure about BASS

I'll look into that. Thanks.

I'd imagine there's probably a lot of other good content on there that I may want to watch.

I just switched to AT&T TV and it does not have Outdoor Channel-just Sportsman Channel. I do not feel like I am getting enough fishing shows. In the fall, I won't care, but I do miss that channel.

I’d imagine you can get the MyOutdoorTv app downloaded onto an appleTV, Fire stick, or some equivalent. That would allow you to watch on your tv. We cut the cord years ago and haven’t missed it.

Heck, I may go that route. My wife likes Hallmark movies. And I’m already paying about that much per month extra for the “outdoor package” on Dish. Plus I can DVR.

Just curious, which networks show MLF and BASS?

ETA: I cut the cord about 4 or 5 years ago and haven't missed anything. Get you a firestick, and check out a few youtube videos on what apps to install to watch TV for free, and you will never miss a thing. All we pay for is Netflix.

MLF plays on the outdoor channel. BASS is usually on Persuit, but sometimes on ESPN.

ETA: we have a fire stick. We pretty much only watch Netflix and amazon shows right now. My contract with Dish is ending this month. So, unless we sign on for another contract to get a good rate, our bill will be about $150/mo. Even at $96, which is what it is now, is not friggen worth it for us.

ETA2: And with all the talk about potentially no football season because of Rona, it’s DEFINITELY not worth it.

Bassmaster has their own free App which is fantastic. You don't have to pay 10 bucks for MLF and they show everything live too.

Get the ROKU there are honestly over 50 fishing TV apps available on it for free and many of them have over 50 different fishing shows and its all free. Pursuit, Waypoint, etc. Cheapest and smartest decision you'll ever make is cutting the cord. Pay for Hulu with Disney Plus & ESPN package for a fraction of what you are paying for now and it has all the cable stations you watch.
