If these two split, the rest of the states not joining them are screwed looking for diesel, gasoline, and avjet, not to mention home heating oil. LA would be more valuable than many NE states.

You seem pretty denseAlways thought we got along. Hell, we've emailed. Can you explain where the dense part comes from. I mean, I am sorry I hurt your feelings.

I think you are misunderstanding the purpose most people have bob for.

What is a bug out bag for?

Either you are trolling, didn't read the previous pages, or your reading comprehension needs attention.

National average for gas was $5.10 today, healthy chance it will top $6 in another 30 days. Trucking and transport are going to get very constrained.
Nothing may happen but better safe than sorry. Patriot Supply has the 4week on sale right now btw.
JimB you ought to do an update on your original thread.
So, why are you telling us we need a BOB ?

I have a bug out bag. Just did for fun to buy a bunch of cool survival stuff. More of a hobby.. has everything from medical kits, to lifestraw, to many different forms of fire, knives, rope, even a mini travel rod n reel. I like to toss it in the pickup during hunting season when i go to the camp. Just because it has so much stuff in it, and i feel like im always going to it to pick something out because im like "damn i forgot this or that" then remember oh i got something I can use in my bag.

The biggest problem people overlook (and it may have been discussed, i didnt read whole thread) is medicine. Obviously basic stuff like tylenol, benadryl, etc. But Rx meds... if SHTF.. people who rely on Rx medicine to survive like diabetees, heart meds, asthma, etc....are screwed

What’s worse is all of the people on psychiatric medicine that will go through withdrawals and looking for any kind of drug fix.

You can have all of the best survival gear in the world, but if you're fat and and out of shape then it will do you little good if you truly need to bug out.
You don't have to be a triathlete. If you're older, it means getting out and walking and doing low impact exercises 3-4 times per week. If you're younger, run, bike, swim, and/or hit the gym.

Step 1 before anyone even begins to think about putting together a BoB is do something to make them not fat. Probably half the population that has BoBs or “prepper supplies” can’t even jog a mile without dropping dead. Physical fitness is the most important thing to get a handle on before anything else…and it will also benefit you in the real world even if S never HTF

You do remember we have met huh? I am roughly in still the same shape. I am also back to hitting the gym so while I may not be a CrossFit, triathlon champion I have most people beat.

So, it wasn't you who posted:

An exit plan can mean a lot of things depending on the person.
Also the I have given my reason for saying that in two previous post.
This thread, as alluded to in the OP and title, is directed at individuals who already have bobs.

Okay, just making sure you weren't confusing me with KR or something.
