I know I’ve seen several posters here who have Mallett Buildings.

We are currently pricing options, and I am wondering what grade Buildings you may have.

The Economy Buildings seem like a decent shed for the price. Anyone here have experience with them?

I'm curious also. I'm looking at building a shed within the year. I seen a lot of Mallet built sheds around where I live.

My experience, a pole shed is not as strong as an all metal building.

No doubt. All metal Buildings are significantly more expensive as well.

We are looking at all option at this point, and while and all metal building would be ideal- we don’t think it will fit our budget.

I got a Carolina Carport done recently through Anderson Manufacturing in Lorman MS. I like it so far. Here is a pic of it.

The owner is Lee Mallett from LSU’s Board of Supervisors. He doesn’t have a college degree and had never stepped foot on LSU’s campus before being appointed by Jindal. Pretty amazing success story. Very generous guy. I don’t have any experience with the buildings just a cool story.

I got the Premium package on my building in 2007. It offered the colored metal, rat guard, skirt board protectors, pole protectors, and 50 year treated lumber.

I mainly got it for the colored metal so it wasn't just a galvalume building.

I have that exact setup from Carolina carports. I used Forman buildings in Liberty Ms. Mine is 30x32 and cost about 11k with the slab IIRC.

Lee is not very well received in SWLA anymore he has had to branch out to other areas that do not know him or his business dealings very well to stay somewhat successful. He is kind of a douche canoe and has done a bunch of shady business in our area. Go with Reeds Metal if your serious about pole barn style building.

You are right I do not have a college degree but I have 40 years of business experience. And have served 3 governors and am on the 4th governor and I am also on several different boards. Since when do you have to have a college degree to help the LSU board?

I can tell by your choice of grammar that you probably didn't go to college, much less high school. We don't know each other and it amazes me that you can say things about me without even knowing me. You sound like you are a reeds employee. I build about 40 percent locally, regardless of what your opinion of by clientele reach is. We go into Texas and parts of Mississippi. So if you would like to tell me who you are I would love to discuss this further with you. I sit on one of the boards of the memorial hospitals and donate money all the time to the 4H locally.

all our buildings are engineered and trusses built at our plant while on the subject post frame has no waste compared to closing in walls versus steel our building come standard 4/12 pitch most steel buildings come with 1/12 or 2/12 unless special order also steel has to be ran in conduit post frame doesn't these particulars make post frame a way better deal than steel our building frame come with lifetime warranty against rust, rot and fungal decay all no.1 ground treated lumber

Go back and read my post. I was very positive about how cool your success story was. I was giving you kudos, not criticizing your lack of education. I have a lot of respect for your story.

No offense, but if you are going to attack someone else's grammar, you should make sure your posts are grammatically correct.
