I know it’s a long shot, but our Female Golden Retriever is missing on Grand Isle. She is really sweet and has never strayed before. Have tried all of the community pages and been driving around with no luck. Kids and Wife are devastated. Please keep an eye out. Thank you.

my name and number are on her collar.

thank you. Ben

Hell I’ll give it a bump. Any luck or do you know anyone on the island.

Last seen late Friday night on Birch near La 1. Small build, Medium color Golden Retriever. Collar is purple/green/pink and has my contact info on it. We have driven up and down Grand Isle for the last 4 days looking for her with no sign at all. Have also posted on all of the Grand Isle FB pages and other social media. Cash reward also offered for her return.

Can’t believe you haven’t found her.

Alert the police department also. They may come across her. Good luck.

Edit: I just saw a post about your dog on the Friends of Grand Isle Facebook page. Hopefully someone finds her.

I was thinking the same.

Or, and I hate to say it, there are many coyotes on the island.

Somebody looking for a bait dog. Was a real problem in BR 10 years ago. Not sure if much of that goes on in Grand Isle, though.

Had a coyote run by camp the other day. I’ve seen hogs on Fifi island too.

I’ve seen one cross the highway at night going toward the beach and one early morning behind our camp. Neighbor saw one behind his camp recently just after sundown.
