Looking for Deer lease in Louisiana

Looking to join back in a deer lease this upcoming season. I bow hunt only so if other bow only clubs have an opening, that would be fantastic. Mix club would be great as well.

I would try Wilkinson County. Going to next to impossible to get in somewhere in West Fel.

If you want archery only, the best plan would be to hunt the National Wildlife Refuges that have limited or no gun hunting. Most are in areas with good soil.

There is a Hunting club and lease classified section on Louisiana Sportsman, its fairly early so not a lot of people have posted openings yet but there is one post about an opening for bow hunting only lease opening in West Fel I believe or fairly close for the low price of $5,300 a year if you are willing to pay that lol.

the easiest way is to check with your buddies that hunt in that area and see where they are hunting and ask them about their lease. Also, check the classifieds people always getting in and out of leases. But I would be wary of joining a lease where I didn't atleast know one member, although I am sure there are endless stories of people becoming friends for life that way.

Im in the same boat. Looking for something big enough for a group of buddies to start a club/lease. Looking for 1000ish acres. It has been quite tough

Just spit balling but that kind of tract in West Fel would be close to 50K a year. My boss pays 25K for 750 acres in Catahoula. It’s prime hunting land and they kill some big arse deer. You might want to look a little further out that way.
