It’s basically going to be used for paper, yotes and hogs and I’m not looking to break the bank.

Any suggestions?

I put a Centerpoint Optic 1-4 20 on a new .22 recently. Red/green dot option. Comes with offset picatinny mount. Picked it up at academy for a bit less than $100. Has been great for my needs.

Bushnell 1-4x. Doesn't have a dot though, only an etched recticle.

I saw one for $119 a couple weeks ago.

What do you consider budget? Under $500?

I have a Leupold Vx-pig on one of mine that I don’t remember being very expensive and it’s good and clear.

More like under $250. It’s going to be a truck gun around the farm and beat to shite. I’ve no need or desire to put anything expensive on it.

Just a joke. Mostly.

No I just want some magnification. I’ve got a cheap red dot on it now and it’s fine but would like a little magnification when I need it

Ok. I would look for a discontinued Leupold or Redfield, and put good rings on it. I wouldn't go with anything that's really meant for a rimfire rifle.
Does your rifle have the carrying handle? Because if it does, I've got the perfect setup for that.

I have a Burris MTAC that I'm pretty pleased with. I paid under $200 and bought an Aero Precision mount for $50ish. That was a couple years ago...prices may vary now.

+1 for this. Got a 3-9x40 for under 150. Crystal clear.
