I am thinking about getting one for my child and I was wondering if anyone knew the cost and requirements and if "lifetime"actually means what it says?By the way he is seven years old now.

I have had mine for at least 12 or 13 years now.i have not had to buy anything since then it covers everything but your fed duckstamp , wma stamp or whatever it is called ,gear liscense, and if you traul for shrimp. For a 7 year old i would not hesitate it could possibly save him thousands of dollars,If I had kids it would be a no brainer!

I bought one. My only regret was that I didn't buy it before I turned 18. It's still good if you move outta state. Well worth the investment.

With all the people buying the lifetime licenses and the yearly revenue from licenses drying up, I can't wait until the blow all the money from the lifetime licenses and start charging fees for deer tags, etc to make up for the revenue.

I need to get the paper work done for my boys soon. My oldest turns 5 in April and it goes up $100. I got mine for a highschool graduation present.
